I was so disappointed on my birthday August 14! I’ve been coming here since my son was 10 years old and he’s is now 46 on August 11. We have been coming every year since then. We were there to celebrate our birthdays. They rushed everything brought out the soup, salad and appetizer at the same time soup had only noodles no greenonions or chicken, salad dressing was like water, appetizer was rushed. We had steak and scallops ordered, medium rare … it was well done. Fried rice lacked taste & ingredients. Then they rushed to bring dessert out while we were still eating. Told him it was both of our birthdays, no candle no singing no celebration . Very very, extremely disappointed. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or new cooks, but it was terrible. May never go back again such a disappointment.

This will be the last time I come here. The experience has declined with each visit and this time a birthday celebration. I have been here for exactly 65 minutes, have received a single drink, a bowl of noodles and broth and a bowl of carrots and lettuce. The owner knew exactly how many families were scheduled and only had 2 chefs working. That being said, Chef Kevin made up for a lot of the wait because he's absolutely fantastic and always has been. I really hope the owners take it to heart that their operation is being visibly cheaply operated at the expense of the customers. It's been a long slow decline. Hopefully they can pull out of this tailspin.

How did I not find this place sooner! It's so close to home and the best hibachi I've had since Jersey in the nineties! Apparently, it's been around more than 30 years... Friendly chef, kind waitress and a fun atmosphere. This is the place families go to celebrate and friends ends can gather. It's noisy so don't expect a lot of conversation, and they'll whisk you through a filling meal so that others can take your seat on the weekend.

Highly recommend their calamari tempura. It comes as pictured with vegetable tempura but they work really well together and honestly I was full halfway through the tempura. Sadly that was the highlight of my meal. Their main entree wasnt great. It’s literally the chef cooking the food with the sauce of your choosing so the flavor was pretty boring. No chargrilled taste either. Steak was overcooked and bland. For hibachi I recommend Star Restaurant nearer to the city. The difference in flavor is night and day and totally worth the extra drive.

Some of us went there with our famies the other day. The food is not bad. The chef was pretty good. The waitress did not come around very often, especially when it came time for the dessert. It took approximately 10 minutes for her to show up. Also the place is somewhat dated and lacks any type of authenticity regarding hibachi style ambiances.
